The Federal Protective Service (FPS) is a Meridonian federal law enforcement agency under the Homeland Department charged with the protection of federal officials, foreign dignitaries, and visiting foreign officials. Founded in 1911 after the assasination of President TBD to serve as a presidential close bodyguard unit, its services has since expanded significantly. It is one of the preeminent federal law enforcement agencies of Meridon, particularly owed to its efficacy in defending charges.
