Victor Luize de Arbaroya (born Novarius 7, 1969), more known as Victor Royal, is an IgnesiaIgnesian politician who is currently serving as the incumbent Axempavekhepe of Ignesia, and a former professional sportsman. Voted by the ISC as the greatest sportsman of all time, he is regarded as one of the most influential and prolific athletes in history. As one of, if not the most decorated sportsman in the world, he is known as a multi-sport athlete, playing professional basketball, ferrenball, association football, and baseball in a career that spanned around 28 years.
Born in Dazedoven, Hysante, he was orphaned a few years after his birth, and would emigrate to Ignesia after scout Pilippe Prince offered him to join the Hercan academy at age 9. At first, he played for Hercan's youth basketball team, but would establish himself as a multi-sports athlete during his time in the academy. This would attract the attention of the Nermesten national team, and would place him in their U19 squad at the very early age of 15. He would make his senior debut in basketball, association football, and ferrenball in 1986, in which he would carry the club to the Trevex Ignezaiteva final in his first year, and and an unprecendented football quintuple the following year. He would also net rookie of the year awards in both basketball and ferrenball during his 1986 season, which broke many records for a rookie player, aswell as all-time records, including {wp|the most touchdowns by a player in a single game}}, set by Victor with 8.
His football career would take him to TC Vimicia, after a now infamous interview in the Menezvran Vrezar Xernesia, where he denounces Hercan principal Ifensa Lodengranze for his "favoritism towards the Ignesian-born, without [the] giving [of] chances to everyone else". He would sign for the Vrezar Vimician side in a free transfer, and in his debut season would bring the club a domestic treble of the Trevex Igneza, the Trevex Impranen Igneza, and the VI Avosepen. He would win them the Trevex Ignezaiteva the next season in 1990, but would miss out on the entirety of the Vimicatrevex after personal scheduling issues with the AVB. Overall, Royal would have 364 appearances and 421 goals for the Vrezar Vimicia-based club, and has remained as the top goalscorer all-time in the league, the top assist total of the team aswell as the second most assist total in the league, and the second TC Vimicia player with the most appearances, only behind rival Caselpe Venes and teammate goalkeeper Lexarredeu respectively. During the latter half of his tenure with TC Vimicia, the Incident at the Ilvanestos would lead to protest from Victor and his national team peers, and eventually the campaign for the reformation of the defunct Ignesian national football team. In 1998, the AFI and the ISC would grant Vrezar Igneza a national team, and many players, including Royal, joined the fledgling national team. The Ignesian team shocked the world in 2000, defeating previous winner Ferren 4-0 after extra time, dubbed the Magic at the Menesvran, alluding to the incident between Nermesten and Kvalnestos 8 years prior. Declining football play and financial trouble would force the hand of TC Vimicia in 2002, selling Royal to Hysante side Rez Cereva for an unheard of ₡95 million, shattering the world transfer record. Nicknamed "Rox Axemparex Cemape Aparen" (The Emperor Above Kings), mostly shortened to RACA, Royal's football playing career would bring him an astounding 4 ISC Nations' Cups, 7 Trevex Ignezaitevas, 5 Boalvanders, 10 Alvadatrevexn, 14 International Club Champions Cups, 15 Avanere-Vimicia Cups, 5 Empaxitrevex, 7 Trevex Vrezar Igneza, 3 Trevex Nermesten, 10 ISC Preseason Cups, and a record 11 ISC World Football Player Awards. After he left the Prima Vimicia football squad and joined Hysante side Rez Cereva, he would win most notably 6 Interchampion's Tournaments, 8 Ligesante titles, and 2 FSA titles with Venester CF. After retiring from the Nermesten national team in 1992 after the Incident at the Ilvanestros, Royal would be one of the main proponents for the reformation of the Ignesian national team, which was split in 1955. After the reformation, he became a part of the famous "Volleyballers" Ignesian national team side that won 3 Nations Cups and 5 Copano Vimiceyras. In basketball, Royal would win 5 IFB Player of the Season awards in a row, from 2002 to 2007, and would bring the first title for Hercan since the IFB's inaugural season in 1957. His ferrenball career would be almost as illustrous as his football career, bringing Hercan-Valkhunen to 4 straight undefeated seasons from 1999-2004. His position as a pitcher and a baseman in the AVB would lend him a reputation as "the heart of the 90s Vrezar Vimicia B squad", bringing them more than 30 senior titles in his career. Victor Royal's other notable achievements include 10 Trevex Axempar titles and 7 Asvargas Awards in ferrenball, 15 IFB champion titles and 7 IFB Player of the Season in basketball, as well as 12 Trevex Vimicia and 11 AVB MVPs during his baseball tenure at Prima Vimicia. Other accolades include top all-time scorer internationally in football (1,138 goals), basketball (52,178 points), ferrenball (719 touchdowns passing and running), and most home runs in baseball (1,086). He is only the second person to win two or more player of the year awards from different sports, after Ifensa Lodergranze in 1967.
The first former professional sports player to become a head of state in history, Royal became involved in politics in 2017, when he joined the Vimician Union party, in which his good relations with former coach and then leader of the Vimician Union party Iosan Lexense allowing him to win the party's presidential election in 2018. He ran unsuccessfully for Premier Justice in the same year, losing to Noxarre E. Vercane by only a slim 2% margin. He would then run for the position of Axempavinkhi in 2020, winning against incumbent Deniel Schlavi in a landslide victory. In the years after retiring from sports, Victor Royal has also served as vice-president of the Avosepen Futbaol Igneza from 2015 until 2017, and has coached the national team of Nermesten from 2016 until 2018. Possibly the most well-known sportsman in the world, Royal has participated in many product endorsements, notably the famous Fel Victor shoe line. He also owns a majority stake over his former club Rez Cereva since 2019, and owns the eponymous Savexar Victor that participates in the CAR International Championship of Tour Racing.
