Wales officially the Land of Wales or simply Wales is a country located in Central West Europe, part of the British Isles and separated from the continent by the English Channel. It is solely bordered by Great Britain to the east and separated from the island of Ireland by the Irish Sea. Covering an area of 21,218 km2 it is home to 3.1 million inhabitants. In 2075, Wales started a long process to achieve independence of the British Crown, that ended with a referendum in 2081.
