The Ostrothian National Revival was the nationwide revival of Ostrothian Language, traditions, folklore, art and music. The movement is widely accepted to have been formed in response to Valkenisation policies that took place during the late 19th and early 20th centuries where the above customs were widely opressed. Eventually this cultural revival would become synonymous with the growth of Ostrothian nationalism in the early 20th centuries and can be seen as a catalyst for the Ostrothian War of Independence and the formation of the ideals of the Ostrothian Republic.
