Carabineros de Madora are the national gendarmerie of Costa Madora, and one of the national main law enforcement agencies, alongside the National Police.

As part of its daily duties, the Carabineros patrol and investigate crimes in rural areas, including highways, airports and seaports, whilst the National Police deals with safety in urban situations.

The Carabineros are often referred to as "El Benemérito", as they are a trusted and prestigious law enforcement institution in Costa Madora.
