AFC Veiranger is a Normarkian professional football club based in Veiranger, Lykemansland that plays in the Elitetoppen of Normarkian Football Federation. Nicknamed the "Forest", a nickname that comes from their stadium's name that is normarkian for the forest, the club was created 1982 as AFC Veiranger as an alternative to the classic Veiranger club BK Halder which many players, fans and sponsors criticized for being owned by incompotent owners, and they joined the lowest tier of normarkian football in their administrative area in 1984 when they began playing in Division 6 Veiranger II. They got promoted to Elitetoppen the first time in 2016 after winning the 2016 Supertoppen. The team has played in Elitetoppen ver since, even if they had to qualify for survival on two occations, 2017 Elitetoppen and 2019 Elitetoppen. The team plays at Skogens Idrottsplats that was originally used for gymnasium and university sports but has since been renovated and built out on several occasions to fit the rules of the higher competitions. The Forest has yet to win the normarkian championship and their best leage placement so far was a 5th place in Elitetoppen 2023.
