The Western Treaty Alliance (WTA) is an intergovernmental organisation and military alliance in western Argestes, bringing together the nations of Časrhinna, Gütland, and Faelan.
Institutions
Secretariat
The WTA's secretariat is composed of the Secretary-General and their staff. The Secretary-General is elected by the Parliamentary Assembly, and carries out the executive administration of the WTA.
WTA Parliamentary Assembly
The WTA Parliamentary Assembly (PA) is the WTA's only directly elected institution, with 10 members elected by popular vote from each member state. The PA serves to elect the Secretary-general (subject to the approval of the Council), and to vote on legislation proposed by the WTA Council and Secretariat.
WTA Council
The WTA Council is composed of the leaders of the national governments of each nation: the President and vice President of Časrhinna, the Prime Minister of Gütland, and the Prime Minister of Faelan. The Council meets twice a year, and decisions are officially made by consensus, although on certain budgetary and administrative matters, majority voting is used.
