The Order of Satavia Act 1977 (c 11) is an act of the Parliament of Satavia. It was passed in 1977 in order to establish an investigative committee to determine whether those inducted into the Order of Satavia by the National Party regime were done so legitimately. Between 1977 and 1986, the committee investigated some 3,000 honours, removing 2,165 honours (over 70% of total awards issued by the National Party regime between 1939 and 1976). Having investigated the final award of the Order of Satavia in 1986, the committee disbanded itself and all the enactments of the Act were spent, thus making the act itself spent.
