Sloughttopia Gold Endevours (SGE) is the government owned gold mining business that is responsible for 75% of all gold mining in Sloughttopia. The company, established in 2024 is owned and managed by the Sloughttopian government. They are based in Hanslay, Sloughttopia, where around 97% of the gold reserves in Sloughttopia are located.
The company uses a system of 6 mines, 2 refineries, and 3 ports to mine, refine, and export gold in Sloughttopia. This system has become more popularly known in the mining industry as the MRE method. Studies show that this method makes mining companies 50% more efficient in exporting gold and producing revenue. These 5 of mines are known as public mines, or mines that are accesable to private owned businesses and can be used by anyone with permission. The exception is the Hanslay Central Gold mine which was built by and can only be used by the Sloughttopia Government.
