The Congress of New California is the bicameral national legislature of New California. It consists of a lower house, the General Assembly, with 281 members; and an upper house, the Senate, with 151 members. Both houses of Congress convene at the Californian Capitol in Sacramento. The houses are distinguished by the colors of the carpet and trim of each house. The Senate is distinguished by the color red and the GA by the color green, inspired by the House of Lords and House of Commons respectively.

Both houses are led by supermajorities formed by the left-wing parties. The GA consists of a majority of 210 to 71, while the Senate has a majority of 123 to 28. Both houses have been in control of the left-wing parties since 2032.
