The Party for the Cárinansian Revolution or PRC is one of the two major parties in the Cárinansian political system, considered traditionally to be Center-right, recently has been reconsidered as Centrist following the presidency of Roberto Bitencourt. Controlling the presidency continuously between 1965 and 2041, today it is the weaker of the two parties, lacking the legislature, executive or judiciary.
With the shrinkage of the PRC, several splinter organisations such as the Patriot Party and Liberal Party have formed, and seem likely to gain seats in upcoming elections. Despite the greatly diminished state of the party, it has remained ideologically unified, with the neoliberal Alcist-Bitencourtism the party's predominant ideology. Generally speaking, legislators of the party vote exclusively in line with the party, and have not voted with the Union Socialists since the beginning of the second National Congress session during Escribano's presidency.
