The National Conglomerate of Prybourne is a unique political system that operates as a Corporatocracy in the region of Anteria. Composed of 12 states and several oversea client states, the National Conglomerate is a conglomerate of multiple business entities that operate as the national government of Prybourne. This system allows for the government and private enterprise to work hand in hand to ensure the success and prosperity of the nation. The National Conglomerate is divided into defacto three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. These branches have their powers and responsibilities defined by the Constitution of Prybourne, also known as the Bill of Opportunities. This document serves as the foundation of the Prybournean legal system, outlining the rights and responsibilities of citizens and the structure of government.
Leadership
The Grand Nagus (Spanish: Gran Nagus de Priborn) is the head of state and the Capitán General of the Corporate Combat Forces in the Prybournean Conglomerate. The current Grand Nagus is Juliana de la Cruz, who serves as both the political and economic leader of the nation. Virtually all decisions that affect Prybourne must receive the approval of the Grand Nagus, whose powers are supported by the Prybourne Bill of Opportunities and backed by the First Clerk and Prybourne Commerce Authority. While the National Board of Executives plays a significant role in the management of the Prybournean Conglomerate, the Grand Nagus operates independently and has the power to overrule decisions made by the National Board of Executives. This authority is supported by the Chief Executives Board, which is composed of members of the Fortune Five and serves as an advisory body to the Grand Nagus.
The Grand Nagus is elected from the Chief Executives Board by its members and serves until their death, removal, or step down from office. This position is highly respected and carries significant power and influence within the Prybournean Conglomerate. As the head of state, the Grand Nagus is responsible for ensuring the prosperity and growth of the nation, as well as protecting its citizens and interests. The Capitán General of the Corporate Combat Forces is another important role held by the Grand Nagus. This position is responsible for overseeing the military forces of Prybourne, which are composed of private security forces and corporate militias. The Corporate Combat Forces are trained to protect the nation's interests and assets, as well as to engage in offensive operations when necessary.
