The Akhist State of Kukkistan(ASK), also known as just the Akhist State, is a Kulkkistani extremist Akhist group based in eastern Kulkkistan. Its origins were in the late 2000s, when local religious and military leader Ismail Usman founded the group alongside his followers and allies. The group gained more influence in eastern Kulkkistan after it occupied several small towns as part of a campaign against the Kulkkistani government and Udonovism. The group gained global prominence in 2012, when ASK affiliates bombed a series of locations in Noshkant, sparking international condemnation against the group and its acts of terrorism. It reportedly rules with an extremely strict interpretation of Akhist law, where it enforced these policies against minority groups.
Following the bombings in Noshkant, the government of Kulkkistan annuonced that it would undertake a new campaign against the Akhist State, with help from Rykensvik and Udonovist militant groups. The Akhist State's methods of terrorist attacks an extremely strict interpretation of Akhist laws has set it aside from other militant groups in Kulkkistan.
