Séoyan is the third largest city in Carinansia, followed only by Anáheiro and São Lenoas, shown in ascending order. It was the capital city of the Republic of Kangsu which existed between 1954 and 2042. When the country was annexed by the Serenacy, it became the capital city of the East Kanju Territory. Mild modifications to local language had already begun by 2055. When the state of Niwang was admitted to the country in 2058, Séoyan became the state capital. The pacified local environment allowed for Kangsuan emigres from the Kanju states to return to their former homes if they chose, and prompted waves of migration from other states and countries, including Monteguerias, the Sierna States, and San Luis. Following government intervention in the 2070s, the city became a global leader in technological innovation, high-tech manufacturing, computing, and nuclear physics research. Today, it is the third richest city in the country. It has long working hours, but the city has a high fertility rate of 2.4
