The Vascara War was a military conflict between Valorá and Kangsu that began after Valorá invaded the Cárinansian state of what was then known as Vascara and the neighbouring state of Platencía in retaliation to closure of diplomatic relations. After initial Valorán success in the La Plata campaigns, Cárinansian naval and aerial dominance allowed them to quickly begin occupation of Valorán cities and towns. Operation Villasante saw the gradual approach towards the capital, and increased rations for those living in occupied territories before peace talks had even concluded.

The Treaty of Tlajoyotl saw the establishment of the new Republic of Valorá, a puppet state of Cárinansia. In 2033, Valorá was fully annexed. The states of Nova Enstel, Embardoro, Sierna Norte & Sur all were formed out of the annexed territory of Valorá. The results of the war are considered to be some of the most important factors in rising Carinansian prominence internationally in the following years.
