Defender of the Faith Cassandra VII, (born Käthe Vogt Böhm; 30 September 1978), is the Defender of the Faith and sovereign of Berush City since 18 July 2027.
Ordained as a priestess in Berush City in 2003, Böhm embarked on an academic career, establishing herself as a prominent and well-known theologian by the early 2010s. She became a professor at Niklaus' Holy University in 2016, at the age of 37. During a violent civil war in Berush City, in order to assist the government, she joined the front lines as an Angelus Exercitus; she was the first descendant of St. Niklaus to do so in over three millennia. She was chosen as Defender of the Faith at the death of her father, Euclid XII, out of three children.
Böhm adopted the name of Cassandra VI, her great-grandmother and a previous Defender of the Faith. Cassandra's writing generally defends the teachings of Saletrism. She has been noted for her humility, concern for the economically disadvantaged, and spread of Saletrism during her term. She strengthened relations between Saletrism and Voruchuism, promoted a return to traditionalism, and sanctioned the creation of art regarding Saletrism, earning the nickname "Defender of the Arts."
