Notable for her role in the funding and development of the NMT-31 "Dokkaebi" and other associated military ground vehicle designs for the Neo-Korean Ground Forces, alongside several ventures in chemical industries, high speed rail developments in both Neo-Korea and, more recently, Meridon. Under her direction, Akira has continued to invest in economic and military developments abroad, especially in The Federation of Atkemri owing to a continued corporate need for the extractive cobalt industry in the nation.

Hikari would be adopted by the previous head of the company, Akira Takao, after the death of his own child in a freak accident. She went to the Sabi University of Economic Development throughout the 2012-2016 period, spending 18 years working in Akira Heavy Industries as a manager at an Akira Steel production facility, COO of the Akira Steel subordinate board of directors, and eventual official successor to Takao, beating out several other individuals who attempted to achieve the role.

Hikari has been noticeably reclusive in the public sphere, spurning attempts at photography or other recordings of her directly, although in regards to interpersonal negotiations she had been noted to be surprisingly ambitious, possessing a bold nature when not required to interact with large groups of individuals. Her personal net-worth is believed to be around 3.25 Billion, primarily manifested through real estate and holdings outside of the state.

Early Life, Education

Crèche, Adoption

Hikari would be left at the Sabi Central Crèche shortly after her birth, being named by the superintendent of the facility utilizing the Tanin last name given to all individuals with a similar lack of declare parentage. She would spend her early years showing general proficiency in but not an exceptional grasp of a variety of subjects. She would be surprisingly adopted at the age of 16 by the then-current CEO of Akira Heavy Industries, Akira Takao, after the death of his son in a freak accident. For the remaining four years, she would be schooled by non-disclosed individuals hired from abroad.

Takao would be generally distant, although Hikari would later note that she had felt a general feeling of pride she believed was present on his end throughout the later years of his life.

Sabi University of Economic Development

Hikari would have a generally successful college career, majoring in Economic Development and becoming a member of an on-campus gathering of other future economic leaders, including Suko Masaru. She would be promoted after four years of leadership to the role of COO on the Akira Steel board. By the end of her career in a management role, she increased the profits of the facility by an approximate 15% in comparison to other facilities.

Chief Operating Officer

CEO

Hikari would be promoted to the role of CEO in 2026, after Takoda's retirement, beating out a series of other competitors amongst the rest of the family owing to her direct experience and command of the loyalty of the majority of the board (itself owed to a series of large-scale favors given to said board members).
