Operation Desert Knight was the Carinansian plan for the invasion of Faelauntz and the outlying islands, in response to the Fae invasion of Monteguerias. Conducted over the course of 11 months, it was the largest military operation in Oikoia since the conclusion of the Vascara War, larger than the 2039 invasion of Kangsu. Beginning in the early morning of October 13, 2055 across the Maron desert, Guerian plains, and Chigue Islands, it was a series of coordinated inter-branch actions against the Fae government.
The Serene Army deployed 200 thousand soldiers to all three aforementioned areas, in cooperation with the Serene Navy, which initiated a blockade of Faelauntz, and moved 60 thousand soldiers to invade the Chigue islands at the beginning of the operation. The Serene Air Force conducted a series of aerial operations across Monteguerias and Faelauntz to establish total aerial dominance, with thousands of various different jets deployed for this to take place. This was the first major Serene Strategic Support Force, and Serene Space Force military operation. It saw the former disable Fae telecommunications, and access Fae military strategies to formulate the plan initially. The Space Force disabled all Fae access to satellites, conducted several aerial reconnaissance missions, and performed some high-altitude bombings of military and government installations.
