I-27 or HV 27 is a major east-west interstate highway in the central portion of Heldervin. It spans 2,981 km in length, from Vrebsicourg, Tuujarnia to Bauern, also in the province of Tuujarnia. It links the cities of Ansium, Bauern, and Vrebsicourg, amongst others. The road is a primary corridor for the province of Tuujarnia; the National Department of Road Infrastructure estimated that the highway facilitates at least 24% of the daily Tuujarnia highway traffic.

Route description

Southeast

I-27 begins as a collector road at East Sanford Road in the lightly populated northern section of Vrebsicourg. Known as Branch Road (so named due to the fact that the intersection forms a Y shape), it heads north to conjoin with I-1, marking the conversion from collector to highway. From there, it is known as Chaburteen IX Freeway.

I-27 continues with I-1 northeast to I-7, where a stack interchange connects the two. Afterwards, I-27 diverges from I-1 and heads northbound again into the town of Mendingwell, Tuujarnia. There, it has an at-grade intersection with I-98, and later, I-14, before gaining an extra lane in either direction. It then proceeds to have an interchange with I-13, after which it runs paralell to the route. The highway then has an intersection with I-216, jutting off to the east while I-216 goes straight.

After travelling east, I-27 has a diamond interchange with I-17/I-32, which is a site of major congestion. Plans are currently underway to widen both highways. I-27 then briefly merges with I-75, during which it turns north; the two highways then separate with I-27 being the middle lanes. I-27 coasts below ground for approximately forty kilometers, gradually turning west towards Ansium. After it resurfaces, it has a cloverleaf with I-21.

North

I-27 proceeds to continue west, though it briefly bends south before turning west again. After this point, it becomes an avenue, passing through the city of Montmorency, Tuujarnia. The avenue segment is known as Franke Avenue.
