History

After seeing first hand the importance of aerial warfare during his time in the Second World War, Then Minister of War Aleksander Wulffe signed the Royal Talvistovan Air Force into being on February 1st, 1950, transfering over the men and aircraft of the Royal Talvistovan Army's 3 Air Wings.

Late 20th Century

The first order of bussiness of the Royal Talvistovan Air Force was the establishment of 8 air bases to hold a proposed 8 squadrons (3 fighter, 1 attack, 3 transport, 1 special activities) across the country. Once that was accomplished, the next order of bussiness was a rapid modernization of the aircraft in service, as the few propeller driven aircraft would be woefully insufficient in the case of another armed conflict breaking out. This was accomplished by the purchase of 12 prototypical Nation Aeronautics Company Sparvhök First Generation Jet Fighters.
