Barbara (born Barbara Palvin; 8 October 1993) is Queen of Hungary as the wife of King Charles V.
Being the first Hungarian-born queen consort in centuries, Barbara found initial fame as a fashion model for Victoria's Secret for which she made her debut at the 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show before later being made a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2016, becoming the first Hungarian model to do so. In addition to this, Barbara has walked for various brands including Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, and Chanel, as well as having graced the covers of various magazines including L'Officiel, Vogue, Elle, and Marie Claire. In 2016, Barbara appeared on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, became the new face of Armani's signature scent "Acqua di Gioia", and was ranked 4th in Maxim's Hot 100.
In 2018, she married Hungary's King Charles V, becoming his second wife with an age gap of almost thirty years and the first Hungarian-born queen consort in five centuries since Anna Jagellonica, wife of Ferdinand I. The couple currently have three children, namely daughters Gisele, Alexia, and Mathilda.
