Early life and career

Özkan was born to a muslim immigrant parents of Turkish and Lebanese-German ancestry. He was born in Islandia, New York but was raised in Bloomfield, New Jersey. His father was a professor at University of New York, while her mother was a manager at Halske American branch in New Jersey. He has a younger sister, Carina Ozkan, who worked for the USDA in the 2030s. Ozkan was raised as a muslim and continues to follow Islam.

During his childhood, Ozkan had to live together with his mother in the United States as his father was living abroad to study. After the September 11 attacks, Ozkan and his mother faced heavy discrimination, leading them to move South Korea and live all three together in Seoul until 2006.

Ozkan attended Bloomfield High School, where he was active in student council activity and world language club. He also went to Islamic prep school everyday after his regular schooling. After graduating from high school in 2017, Ozkan later went to Long Island University to study communication. He was active in the undergraduate student government between 2018-2020. He graduated in 2023 with a B.A. degree.

Ozkan began his professional career as a general affairs staff for Daesang Engineering, a Korean auto parts maker company in Bulloch, Georgia. He was working in that capacity while also attending an online coding bootcamp, Frontiers Academy. In 2025, he resigned from his job to attend British Columbia University, then received a M.A. degree in digital media in 2027. After getting his masters degree, he began working as a project assistant for Valiant Technology Service, a San Francisco-based IT consulting company from 2027 until 2031, when he moved to Atlanta and started working for KOSCO in Johns Creek, Georgia.
