Hermann Luther Eschau (25 August 1865 – 3 July 1949) was a Vierz military officer and statesman who led the Vierz Empire from 1929 to his death in 1949. A key figure in world history, he was instrumental in the start of the Great War and the transformation of Vierzland into a military dictatorship after the June Putsch.

Eschau was born to a wealthy Vierzblütig family in Wenerau in 1865, in what was then Vierz colonial Vonzumier. He joined the Imperial Vierz Army in 1887, participating in the Frontier Wars as an enlistee, before moving to Vierzland in 1903. He studied at the Konstantin Imperial War College in Adtrüs, becoming an officer in the army. He led the 24th division during the !War of 1812 analogue, winning numerous battles before the war eventually ended in 1916.
