From Old Entharic djegingu, borrowed from Old Olamian chi- (big) + giingoo (fish).

Notes

In Old Entharic, both djegingu and hvalr were used to describe a whale. Djegingu overtook hvalr and is used in most Badul dialects today. However, in Enthar, Badul dialects use chfal, referencing hvalr.
