The President of Iotopha is the political leader of Iotopha, since 1985. Prior to the establishment of the presidency, Iotopha's chief political figure and de factor head of state was the Chairman of the Presidium, which was concurrently held by the General Secretary of the Revolutionary Worker's Party.
