Etymology

The work "Haverade" is a fusion of two words, "Haven" and "Trade". As people of Haverade living in trading havens before the country is established, the founding businessmen of the country decided to combine these two things into a word to make it the nation's name as their purpose of founding the country was to make trading easier

History

Pre-Colonization Period

The lands of modern-day Haverade were nearly empty as the lands not being too suitable for a living. While there were some natives living in the coastal areas, going deeper to the lands there were nothing but animals and plants there. The area consisted high amount of forests and dangerous animals that can harm or even kill people. Because of the potential process of colonization being too costly and not beneficial, Tribians never attempted to colonize the area and these lands remained empty until the businessmen started colonizing.

Modern History

Establishment of Modern Haverade

An association that was being led by 12 CEOs of 12 member companies was starting to thrive in Eastern Tribia. Calling themselves as "The Universal Association", these CEO's major goals were always the same: Making more money. These men did not have religious beliefs, which is a wrong thing not to have in Tribia. Because of the laws that Tribia has about religion, all men who did not believe in the state's religion will be sent to prison. So Tribian police arrested the members of The Universal Association and judged them because of their heretic thoughts. After a short trial, the members of The Universal Association were sent to prison for life, but they still had some workers & other corporate leaders who were loyal to them outside. With their help, they were able to hold their connections with their money and after some months, they eventually managed to bribe the guards and broke free out of the prison. They secured all the money the Tribian government could not take away and ran away from Tribia proper.

The lands beyond Tribia were mostly undeveloped lands that were populated but poor. The members of The Universal Association felt the hunger for money again and with most of their remaining monies, they established some trading havens and started trading with various other nations. Because of their non-regulated trade policies, various merchants decided to trade with them instead of selling their products in a nation that has tariffs. Thanks to that, the members of The Universal Association were able to buy and sell products really fast. That way, they eventually recovered their money. However, these trading havens lack the workers to make it even bigger. That meant the members of The Universal Association could only gain a limited amount of money in their lives. They prayed for a solution, and fortune smiled on their face as massive immigration from the Biggonian State caused lots and lots of citizens to move to these trading ports. Seeing they need manpower and these people need homes, The Universal Association took them as workers and started establishing even more trading ports and even some cities with bazaars. Biggonian manpower affected trading in these lands massively and some people including important businessmen from Southern areas began immigrating to these lands. 4 of these newcomers were especially important though, as they were owners of 4 big soda companies in their countries. They made an agreement to move in Haverade together and be in cooperation rather than being in a competition. These 4 companies introduced the soda pop sector to these lands, which is one of the most important income sources of Haverade today. Seeing that trading has improved a lot in these lands, The Universal Association, along with the 4 newcomers, decided to establish a government to serve their goal of creating a monopoly in this eastern territory. Therefore, they formed the Haverade.
