2024 Junics

{The 2024 Summer Junics, officially the Games of the XXXVIII Juniad and officially branded as Hansa 2024, is an upcoming international multi-sport event scheduled to take place from July 26th to August 11th. The competition is going to take place in primarily Gala, Hansa Federation though there will be other events spread around the country. Gala and the Hanseatic bid were awarded the junics in 2017 and were praised for having a record amount of pre-built infrastructure.

Gala was awarded the games on the 13th of September 2018. After an intense bidding process between Hansa, North Bardonia, Tussia and Tayichi the Hanseatic bid won. The 2024 games are expected to cost 9 billion.

Developement and Preperations

Medals

Hansa 2024 lead organiser and president Victor VanMayen unveiled the junic medals for the games in early summer 2024 which were designed by Juviein a Hanseatic jewlery company. The medal design was choosen after a rigourous nationwide competition. The medals would be produced by the Carlelle Minting Company in Carlelle Beach a suburb of Gala. Each medal weighs 455-529g, has a diameter of 85mm and is 9.2mm thick. The gold medals are made with 97 percent silver and 3 percent gold; silver medals of 100% silver and the bronze medals are made up with copper, zinc and tin.

Volunteers

The Hansa 2024 volunteer platform for the Junic games was opened to the public in March 2023. Out of 30,000 positions needed, 300,000 applications were submitted. Applicants were notified of the outcome in late 2023

Despite the midst of a civil war the Dolplandian Transitional Council and the State of Kahilo will both be participating under the united Dolplandian team.
