Arsène Larousse (born 16 April 1980) is an Avergnonian politician who is the current Governor of Selleaux since 2016. A former businessman with connections to oil and gas companies, Larousse was elected as a member of the Labour Party. His governance of the province has been met with mixed reaction, with some praising his progressive policies on investing in green energy and infrastructure restoration, and others criticizing high tax rates and accusations of corruption. In response to widespread violent protests as a result of the 2024 Selleaux status referendum, Larousse ordered martial law in Selleaux with the support of the Avergnon Armed Forces.
