Rylland (Yayalt: Yialan) (German: Rylkland) officially known as the "Kingdom of Rylland" (Yayalt: Kiqwabalh Yialanimpa) (German: Konigreich Rylkland) is a country located in Morpheus. It is known for it's tourism, cold climate, and mountains. It's capital is Osmarch, but it's largest city (in land area, not population) is Port Seal, which is also home to a well known port of the same name. Rylland is divided into 13 provinces.
Rylland is a capitalist and a currently decreasing atheist nation. After 9 civil wars and 189 coups, with 33 of them being successful, the country experienced economic booms throughout the aftermath of the civil wars, becoming an authoritarian dictatorship, and transitions to democracy.
The Ryllandic government mainly spends money on administration, education, healthcare, industries, law and order, and trade. Crime in Rylland is almost non-existent, especially among the youth. Rylland is also known for it's tourism due to the protected wilderness of the country.
Rylland is uninhabitable until the arrival of several tribes of Morpheus during the last ice age. The tribal kingdoms were later conquered by the Yayalt Empire, which rivals the Oklo Tribal Empire which was later defeated at the Battle of Proggea in Gabriella. The Yayalt Empire become the strongest of the Ryllandic tribal kingdoms as well as being a great power of Morpheus at the time. After the collapse of the Yayalt Empire, the remaining citizens created the nation of Rylland, and conquer most of the former Yayalt Empire, as well as establishing vassals, protectorates, and colonies.
Rylland is a middle power and has a thriving economy, although the country has low civil rights and political freedoms during and after the dictatorships. Despite this, Rylland is still a rich country due to trade and production on high quality goods.
