Cadence is a city in Carson County, West Monroe, Ibica, and a suburb of Frankfort. It is part of the Frankfort metropolitan area. The population was 8,933 at the 2020 census.

Geography

Cadence is located in southeastern Carson County occupying the area surrounding the intersection of West Monroe State Highway 71 (Louisville Highway) and West Monroe State Spur 201 (Airport Road). Cadence is bordered to the north by the city of Frankfort and to the south and east by Frankfort State Park.

Education

Cadence is served by the Cadence Independent School District.
