China (Chinese: 中國; pinyin: Zhōngguó), officially the Federated Provinces of China (FPC), is a country in TBDCONTINENT. It is the world's TBD-populous country, with a population exceeding 1.1 billion, slightly ahead of TBD. China spans across five time zones and borders TBD-countries by land. With an area of approximately 11 million square kilometres (4,247,000 sq mi), it is the world's TBD-largest country by total land area. The country consists of 22 provinces, eight autonomous regions, and six municipalities. The national capital is Peking, and the most populous city and largest financial center is Shanghai.
