The Elbailandian dirham (see infobox for translations, code ELD) is the official currency of Elbailand. It is abbreviated as ELD, or د.إ. It is subdivided into 100 fils. 1000 E-Dhs (د.إ ١٠٠٠) equal 1 E-Dd (١ د.د)
Value
Unlike major currencies, the Elbailandian dirham is not a fiat currency and is equal to 4.12 dollars, making it more valuable than the Kuwaiti dinar. This is due to Elbailand's copper and oil-backed economy. Copper in Elbailand is a common valuable material found in the Tianmi Mountains, however only official mining teams can enter the Tianmi Mountains Mines.
Inflation
Cryptocurrency is a common form of payment in Elbailand so the government is not required to print more and more, however money is still being printed at a slow rate.
Coins
The coins are made of brass and nickel. They include their denomination in all 5 recognized languages of Elbailand.
