Árpád II (Árpád Norbert Illés; born 8 August 1948) is the current King of Kárpátaka.
Árpád was born in Neapolisz as the second child of Antal and Dorina, and he was privately educated at home. He succeeded to the throne following the death of his father, Antal on June 1 1993 and was officially coronated on June 15 1993. He has presided over major civil conflicts, including the civil war and the insurgency that continued afterwards. In the midst of the civil war, Árpád was de-facto removed from administrative, civil, and religious power following a military led bloodless coup d'etat. He has continued to be the ceremonial head of the nation, while all functional power was transferred to Prime Minister Csaba Boros.
