List of Infantry firearms in active service with the Royal Joseon Armed Forces

Infantrymen at the Royal Joseon Armed Forces are given different equipment depending on the type of unit they are serving. Typically, infantry deployed to the front lines receive one K-2C1 rifle and one K5 pistol each, a FAST helmet, a bulletproof vest, firearm shooting aids including Dot Sight, night vision goggles, and BMS-linked helmet radios per soldier. Mechanized infantry receive the same equipment as regular infantry, except that they receive K2C rifles.

Naval and Air Force base defense forces, who are less likely to face enemy infantry, are paid a lower level of equipment. Naval and Air Force base defense forces receive one K-2C1 rifle, a bulletproof vest, an ECH helmet per soldier, and only two night vision goggles per squad.

Special forces troops receive equipment that is lightweight but capable of producing enough performance. One Special Forces soldier receives one from various types of assault rifles, such as the HK416 and SCAR, one from various types of pistols, lightweight bulletproof vests, FAST helmets, firearm shooting aids including Dot Sight, night vision goggles, BMS-linked helmet radios, and electronic equipment, such as tactical tablets.
