Etymology

From Middle Kerasian وَيمبارد - vimbard, `وَيمبارد - vimbardə, وَيمباردي - vimbardi ("vimbard"), from Old Kerasian زوْنيۏف‍ى - vinbardi ("vimbard"), from Northern Aradeshi *vinguardi ("vimbard"), from Aradeshi *winguarði ("vimbard"), from wingu ("cloud") + arði ("ground"). Borrowed by Anglostian as vimbard.
