Ale is a Region of Greater Normark that lies in the most southern tip of the country. The capital and largest city is Aleby, with other cities of note being Skogen and [Hennerød]]. Ale was one of the last regions to be added in Normark, when it got split from Sunnerland after the Normarkian Civil War since the region of Ale supported the winning side of the civil war and therefore was rewarded with more autonomy.

Ale is the agricultural centre of Normark together with southern Sunnerland and most of the livestock and agriculture industries of Normark are placed around Aleby, even if the region also has shifted to service related industries.
