Orbiters
- The Epsilon-class Orbit was designed as the primary booster system for the 3rd Generation Space Capsule. Its purpose is to push the capsule into its final orbital trajectory to complete docking procedures with the Orbital Research Space Station. It is also the primary mode of transporation to return the Space Capsule back to Earth. Utilizing the engines to decelerate from orbit, it has landing legs, RCS Thrusters, and a parachute to assist in landing operations to bring anywhere from 3 to 6 Astronauts to the space staiton and back to Earth.
- The updated Epsilon-class v2 Orbiter is completed and is now paired with the 4th Generation Capsule, where the docking ring is moved from sides of the orbiter to the top of the cone and the parachute is integrated into the body of the capsule and moved off of the nose cone. There is also the addition of a Launch Abort System (LAS) onto the top of the capsule, which will be utilized in case there is a catastrophic system failure. This system will eject and catapult the Capsule away from the rest of the Full Stack, where it will be able to successfully land to keep the astronauts safe.

Capsule
- The high tech Capsules of the Imperial Space Administration are nearly 100% automated in terms of it's orbital capabilities. With most information shown on touch-screen displays within arms reach of the seats. There is a manual joystick behind a door underneith the center display. This joystick is just in case that there is an issue with the onboard computer and it is needed to manually dock or undock with the Space Station. While it does not have any RCS thrusters of it's own, it does have smaller cold-gas thrusters that give it the ability to roll and pitches so that the heat shield is always pointed towards the right direction so that it doesn't burn up upon re-entry.
- The redesigned Capsule's heat shield is designed so that there is minimal gaps between.. This design is to ensure that if something occurs with whatever vehicle is transporting the Capsule to orbit (i.e. the Epsilon-class Orbiter that is used to transport to the Research Space Station) can be detached so that the Capsule can return to earth with minimal to no issues, losing only the Service Module that makes up the Orbiter. The Capsule has the ability to deliver 1 Pilot, 2 Service Crew, and 4 Passengers to orbit with each launch.
- The Updated 4th Generation Space Capsule has been slated with enhanced biometrics. This system encodes the Capsule's system to the crew that is assigned to the mission. The capsule also has an enhanced air filtration system and cooling system to ensure the comfort of the astronauts onboard. Each suit is integrated into the filtration and cooling system via three tubes that attach to the right side of each chair. Each suit is perfectly tailored to the specific astronaut to ensure comfort. There is a mobile computer panel that attaches to either wrist of the suit that is utilized as a control panel to adjust the airflow and temperature for the individual's suit.
Cargo Transports
- The main workhorse of the Cargo Transportation Fleet for the Orbital Science Space Station, the Omega-class specialty cargo transporters are designed to connect with the lowest docking segments of the Space Station so that Scientists can unload any and all equipment and new Research Projects onto the station as quickly as possible, utilizing the large docking ports at the top end of the transport ship. The vehicle is also designed to the point that it can bring up new equipment to replace old, outdated, and/or broken computer equipment.
- These Cargo Transporters are designed to have a total lifespan of 25 years before they need to be replaced. As of right now, the Imperial Space Administration has plans for at least two replacements for the Omega-class, with production of the prototypes of these two replacements. There is no official word of when these prototypes will be finished, they are being designed by two different private corporation teams. Imperial Space Expeditions Incorporated has the contract for one of the Prototypes while The Imperial Scientific University at Fairbanks is holds the contract for the second of the Prototypes.

Medium Lift Launch System
Anders L. Cooperston Memorial Space Center on the Imperial Colony of Alraibris
Stage 1 Booster
- The Upsilon-class 1st stage of a Medium Lift Rocket is an essential component of any space mission. It is responsible for propelling the rocket off the ground and achieving the necessary velocity for orbit insertion. The rocket design presented here, developed by the Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration (SISA), incorporates state-of-the-art technologies and innovative designs to maximize performance and reliability.
- The 1st stage of the Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration's Medium Lift Rocket consists of a liquid-fueled propulsion system. The rocket uses a combination of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) and Liquid Methane (CH4) as a propellant, giving the vehicle a high specific impulse and superior thrust-to-weight ratio. The propellant is stored in high-pressure tanks, which are housed in the rocket's lower section. The propulsion system of the 1st stage consists of a single engine, which is powered by a combination of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) and Liquid Methane (CH4). The combustion chamber of the engine is fed by propellant through injectors, which produce the thrust required for liftoff. The engine is equipped with an advanced turbopump system that efficiently transfers propellant from the storage tanks to the combustion chamber.
- The 1st stage engine of the Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration's Medium Lift rocket is designed to provide a maximum thrust of 200,000 Newtons (N). This level of thrust is necessary to overcome the gravitational pull of the Earth and achieve the required velocity for orbit insertion. The engine's performance is characterized by its specific impulse, which measures the efficiency with which propellant is converted into thrust. The Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration's engine has a specific impulse of 450 seconds, which is well above the industry average.

Stage 2 Booster
- The Phi-class second stage of a Medium Lift Rocket, designed in the Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration, is a crucial component that ensures the efficient and reliable transport of payloads into orbit around the Earth. This stage is responsible for boosting the rocket's velocity to a high enough level to overcome Earth's gravitational pull and break free from its atmosphere. This section of the document will provide an overview of the design considerations, technical specifications, and capabilities of the second stage of the Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration's Medium Lift Rocket.
- The second stage propulsion system of the Medium Lift Rocket is designed to propel the rocket and its payload beyond the Earth's atmosphere. This stage utilizes a liquid-fueled propulsion system, consisting of Liquid Oxygen (LOX) and Liquid Methane (CH4). The choice of these propellants allows for high specific impulse (Isp), which is crucial for achieving efficient propulsion during the ascent phase. Additionally, the use of liquid propellants allows for precise control of the rocket's trajectory and allows for multiple burns during the flight.
- The second stage structure of the Medium Lift Rocket is designed to withstand the extreme forces and vibrations experienced during the launch and flight. The structure consists of a lightweight yet robust framework, which houses the propulsion system and other critical components. The structure is designed to optimize weight distribution and minimize the mass fraction, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintaining the appropriate operating temperature of the second stage propulsion system is essential for its proper functioning. The Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration has incorporated advanced thermal management systems into the second stage design. These systems include insulation materials, cooling channels, and temperature control systems to maintain the appropriate operating temperatures throughout the flight. By effectively managing the heat generated during the rocket's ascent, the Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration ensures reliable performance and reduces the risk of thermal-related failures.
- To ensure accurate guidance and navigation during the second stage flight, the Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration has implemented advanced guidance and navigation technologies. These systems utilize a combination of inertial measurement units (IMUs), Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, and star trackers to provide precise information about the rocket's position, velocity, and attitude. This enables the rocket to be maneuvered accurately along its predefined trajectory and enables communication with the ground control station.

Heavy Lift Launch System
George A. Loak Memorial Space Center and
Marine Air Corps Station Delta 3 on the Shazbotdom Imperial Mainland
- The Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration, after a large contract that was to launch multiple satellites into Heliocentric Orbit, began the design of what was to become the HLS. This Launch System is designed so that the Empire can launch satellites and other payloads into High Earth Orbit and out of Earth's Orbit. As of right now, there are 2 Stages, with the Second Stage currently having 4 different types in operation while a 5th and 6th are in planning/testing phases.
- In an effort to cease the constant shuffling of Boosters between the George A. Loak Memorial Space Center and Marine Air Corps Station Delta 3, the Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration has begun the process of a selection system for the Heavy Lift Launch System to have specific Boosters assigned to Launch Facilities. Once the selection process is completed by the Board of Directors, we will begin the process of transporting all boosters to their designated Space Center.

Second Stage Boosters
Block 1
- The Second Stage Block 1 Alpha-class Booster is specifically designed to deliver deliver multiple smaller Satellites into Low Earth or High Earth Orbit and return to Earth with little to no effort. The system has been setup to either deliver 4 or 6 Satellites, but can, with alterations, deliver up to 8 Satellites. This system has, to the point, only been utilized to deploy Satellites for Shazbotdom News Corporation.
- Future plans for this booster include the creation of a communication system for any future Lunar missions and for the inevitable creation of the Lunar Colonial Posession. To ensure that no matter what direction the moon is pointing, the Lunar Colony will continue to have communications capabilities with the Imperial Space Administration. Plans for this communication system between Earth and Luna are still in the preliminary phase, but these plans are progressing quickly.

- In 2004, the SISA Shuttle came to a close and marked the end of an era in the history of space exploration with its final flight. While its retirement was met with a sense of nostalgia, it paved the way for the development of more advanced spacecraft, such as the Heavy Lift Launch System, which continues to push the boundaries of human exploration beyond Earth.
- The Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration Shuttle, active from 1993 to 2004, was a remarkable spacecraft that significantly contributed to the field of space exploration. Its sleek design, powerful propulsion system, versatile cargo bay, and operational capabilities made it a pioneering vehicle for scientific research and astronaut transportation. There is no doubt that the SISA Shuttle will continue to live on in the annals of space exploration history as a testament both to human ingenuity and to our longing to discover more about the universe and its mysteries.

Heavy Lift Stage 1 Side Boosters
- The Lambda-class Side Boosters are designed to give the Zeta-class Launch System an extra boost to assist in getting it as close to an orbit as possible before they Jettison off of the main launch vehicle, attaching to each other behind the vehicle, and then doing a Return to Launch Site burn. The side boosters have undergone one change to the design, where the computer was fully integrated into the fuselage. This slight change was done to ensure that the vehicle would be reusable for a prolonged period of time.
- Due to advances in Engine Design on the Zeta-class 1st Stage Booster, as of the 1st of March, 2024 the Lambda-class Side Boosters are officially marked as Retired. The First Stage Boosters underwent a slight redesign to remove the docking mechanism for the Side Boosters and scale down the use of the RCS Boosters. Side Booster Pair Lambda-1 is currently in the Official Museum on the grounds of the Main Office Campus of the Imperial Space Administration. Side Booster Pairs Lambda-2 through Lambda-15 have been scrapped and the metals from them sent to the recycling center at our Metals Partner of Grants Metal Supply.
