Skogelag is a Region of Greater Normark that lies in the north of the country. The capital is Vindaheim, with a population of 17,000, but the largest city is Nordfjall with a population 27,000. Other cities of note in the region are Blofoss and Lyngve. Skogelag was first introduced in 1637 after the creation of the kingdom of Greater Normark, as the administrative region that had control of all the new settlers and old settlements northwest of the main kingdoms of Normark, to keep track on tax and soldiers. It got defined borders in 1847, but it got it's modern borders in 1975.
