As the Capital of North Bardonia, Carthiada has been an important settlement for much of its history, a symbol of the gleaming progress of North Bardonia. In the past the ancient city commanded the respect of the known world and was the center of a vast empire and for much of this time it was an epicenter of gold, silver, silks & knowledge. The city today continues to be an important settlement with it being the capital city of North Bardonia as well as a trade hub for North Bardona and additionally the center of the Old Faith and numerous commercial enterprises.
