In Nationstates Worlds, Class is the main determinant in a Leader's abilities and the strongest factor in deck selection, as it is also a determinant of what cards one can use in a deck. While each Leader represents an individual character with their own personalities, all Leaders of a class share a general playstyle. Upon first creating an account, the player is provided a free deck of their chosen class and can unlock cards (including Leader cards) of other classes by playing or purchasing booster packs. These classes are based on Realms classes.

List of Classes

  • Blaster: The Blaster Leader is adept at manipulating the world around them with Qi, magic, or whatever spiritual powers that originate from their home universes.
  • Brawler: Masters of physical combat, units of the Brawler class often balance high health and high attack, although their spiritual capabilities tend to leave much to be desired. Their abilities, if any, are centered around fighting, such as preventing the enemy from using Commands on them or during the battle phase, or punishing them for doing so, reflecting the Brawler Leader's desire for a fair fight.
  • Ranger: Armed with guns, bows, or other ranged weapons, this offensive class offers units with high attack at the cost of low health, some of which can deal direct damage with little to no energy cost, reflecting the Ranger Leader's pragmatic resourcefulness that has kept them alive in a world full of supernatural menaces.
