Chonsheuan is a city in western Yuan, with a population of 8.2 million people making it the 5th-most populous city in the country. It is located on the shore of the Cantalle Ocean along the Guanjan Sea. A major port city, it is a center of manufacturing, technology, aerospace, and energy production. Chonsheuan is the home to the Chonsheuan Stock Exchange, one of the largest stock exchanges in the world by market capitalization. Chonsheuan is ranked as an Alpha- (global first-tier) city. Its nominal GDP is among those of the cities with the fifteen largest economies in the world. Chonsheuan also has one of the most competitive and largest financial centers in the world, the fifth-highest number of billionaires, one of the largest scientific research output, and several higher education institutions, including Chonsheuan University, West Yuan University of Science and Technology, and Chonsheuan Technology College. In recent years, it has emerged as one of the fastest growing economic hubs in the world and has been experiencing a skyscraper construction boom; in October 2024, the Chonsheuan One became the world's tallest building when it opened at a height of 1,001 m (3,284 ft).

Chonsheuan is a cultural hub of Yuan and has defined much of the west coast's culture in the 20th and 21st centuries. It is renowned for its music and cinema scenes, cuisine, and sporting, with teams like Chonsheuan Sainty FC ranking high in national sport leagues.
