The Third Empire of Averius is a wealthy country with vast natural resources and wealth. The economy grows at a rate of 2% per year with an inflation rate of 2% per year. The Third Empire of Averius uses the ideology of Monarcho-Capitalism.

History

First Empire Economics

The Economics of the First Empire was a feudal-based economy. The nobles held the political power, while the guilds held the economic power. The guilds were chartered by the local nobles.

Second Empire Economics

The Economics of the Second Empire of Averius was the start of Monarcho-Capitalism. The guilds were sold off and turned into private enterprises. The nobles lost their political power, but used their wealth to take advantage of the new capitalist society. This led to the businesses of the Empire to be largely owned by the nobility.

Third Empire Economics

Primary Sector

The Primary sector is for resource extraction industries. The Primary Sector accounts for A$25 billion in economic output.

Agriculture

Agriculture is a major sector of the Empire with many agricultural products, including wheat, corn, cabbage, squash, watermelon, apples, raspberries, strawberries, and more. The Empire has 1,000,000 m2 of farmland dedicated for food production. This allows the Empire to produce enough food to feed 500 million people. The economic output of food production is A$10 billion.

Seafood

Seafood is a major sector of the economy, with ships catching vast quantities of fish, crab, lobster, shrimp, and clams. The Seafood industry has an economic output of A$5 billion.

Wine

Wine is an important industry in the Empire, producing a wide variety and flavors of wine. The wine industry produces 1 billion Imperial Bottles (1 Liter bottles) for a total economic output of A$1 billion.

Beer

Beer is an important industry in the Empire, producing a wide variety and flavors of beer. The beer industry produces 40 billion Standard Bottles (0.5 Liter bottles) for a total economic output of A$2 billion.

Mining

Mining is a major sector of the Empire with the major minerals and metals being mined include large volumes of gold, silver, copper, lithium, silicon, mercury, lead, indium, iron, and aluminum. Other metals are mined but in smaller quantities. Mining produces an economic output of about A$2.5 billion

Oil Extraction

Oil extraction is a large industry in the Empire, though it is produced mainly for government and military use as well as for export.

The Empire extracts 1 billion barrels of crude oil. The Empire prices Crude oil at A$2 per barrel. The Empire does not sell crude oil, but rather, refines it.

Refined oil products are priced at A$2.5 on average. With 400 million barrels of gasoline reserved for export, the domestic output of the oil industry is A$1.5 billion.

Coal Mining

Coal mining is a large industry in the Empire, though it is produced mainly for power and heat generation as well as for export. The Empire mines about 600 million tons of coal per year at a price of about A$5 per ton. The economic output of coal mining is A$3 billion.

Secondary Sector

The Second sector is for manufacturing industries. The Secondary Sector accounts for A$10.5 billion in economic output.

Steel Manufacturing

Steel Manufacturing is a major industry in the Empire. 100 million tons of steel is produced on an annual basis. Steel prices are around A$10. Steel is produced in rolls, beams, and other forms and products for an economic output of A$1 billion.

Aluminum Manufacturing

Aluminum Manufacturing is a major industry in the Empire. 4 million tons of aluminum is produced on an annual basis. Aluminum prices are around A$50. Aluminum is produced in rolls, beams, and other forms and products for an economic output of A$200 million.

Electronics Manufacturing

Electronics manufacturing is a major industry in the Empire. This industry produces a wide variety of products including but not limited to computers, mobile phones, landline phones, microprocessors, electronics components, electrical cables, internet cables, phone lines, transmissions boxes, water meters, electrical meters, and control systems. Electronics manufacturing produces an economic output of A$2.5 billion.

Automobile Manufacturing

Automobile manufacturing is a major industry in the Empire. This industry produces cars, vans, trucks, SUVs, semitrucks, and other vehicles. About 10 million automobiles are produced every year. Automobile manufacturing produces an economic output of A$5 billion.

Ship Manufacturing

Ship manufacturing is a major industry in the Empire. This industry produces cargo ships.
