Alpha Epsilon is a company in the Cardverse that specialises in genetic engineering, astrophysics, and spiritual technology. It is one of the largest NSW card companies in the world, having issued hundreds of cards as of 2034.
History
The Tap
During an experiment to discover a means of interuniversal travel, a group of AE scientists built the Cobbler Gate, a device that was designed to open a portal to the nearest universe. However, instead of creating a stable portal, the gate opened a miniature black hole, pulling objects and people towards it. While no person was transported inside this black hole, objects slammed into the controls and reversed the process and minimized the intensity. This turned the potentially dangerous event into a harmless incident which drew Qi from the Prime Realm and directing it to a piece of paper.
