Sordland ({{wp|Sann|Sann}: Sordland), officially the Kingdom of Sordland is a Constitutional monarchy located in central Earth. Sordland lies between the Norway to the south, the Samarra to the northwest and the Sweden to the northeast. It shares borders with Sweden and Finlandto the north and Norway, to the South-east.
The Sann migrated from southwestern Norway to Sordland between the 5th and 7th centuries. Viking-dominated kingdoms such as Sanna, Sordlada and Vandus ruled the region in competition with rival Sann kingdoms such as Yongjan, Swabiland and Lunda. European contacts began in 1362 with a Portuguese diplomatic mission, which had emerged as a regional power by the end of the 14th century. Sordland reached its peak in the 17th century until it was destroyed, but King Eric IV the Great quickly reunited the divided territories and established the short-lived Kingdom of Liburia (1625–1637), of which he was the sole monarch. His kingdom collapsed and became a small state again in the following century, until the reign of João Bragazza (the first ruler of the unified Sordland), the first monarch of the modern Denwig dynasty. The Sordland system of government was centralized and transformed into a modern absolute monarchy under the reign of King Alexa Romanikov from 1855 to 1930. During World War I, Sordland sided with the Allies, a political decision to amend unequal treaties. After a bloodless revolution in 1937, Sordland became a constitutional monarchy, and became an ally of Nazi Germany in World War II in late 1945. After the accession of King Mundo Amauel Mbarto I, the monarchy's historically influential role in politics was restored. During the Cold War, Sordland remained neutral in the conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union. During the mid-1970s and 1990s, Sordland also alternated between democracy and military rule.
The current emperor and head-of-state since 2019 is Werner V, brother of late Leopold III. With over 100 million inhabitants, it is the 3rd most populous country in Esermia. The capital city of Manstedten is a centre for Darden culture, with Badthal in Ardeniche province being the largest city and main industrial hub. New Colcha maintains a strong economy and large military, and exerts great diplomatic power within both the Darden and greater Esermian spheres. As a historical defender of Doxanism and Darden culture New Colcha is home to various heritage sites, and is naturally diverse with forests, plains, alpine mountains and swamps.

The military of New Colcha, known as the Koigstehr, is comprised primarly of the Vefecht (Land), Fliegafe (Air), and Tilmarine (Naval). New Colcha has one of the highest military expenditures in Esermia, and largest of the EST. A leader in war-time innovation, New Colcha developed a military industrial complex in the 20th-century, which has been tempered by military & economic reform introduced by Werner V in 2020. New Colcha is a founder and permanent member of Dardencorps, which exists as a reactionary counter-force to insurgency, armed revolts and terrorism across Esermia and abroad.
Much of modern military doctrine has been influenced by Colchan military history; such as the concept of combined arms, the importance of protection of armoured units, and urban warfare. Notable military assets include the ongoing Deitslerforsch series of tanks first introduced in the 1930s, advancement of gas-delayed firearms and integrated cartridges, and development of precision munitions.
