The Arcandias Army is the largest and most critical branch of the Military Council, tasked with keeping the nation's sovereignty and to be engaged with land-based operations. The Branch is structured for mobility, urban warfare, and rapid deployment, and the Army's doctrine is heavily influenced by reliance on the porcupine strategy.

Structure and Organization

Infantry Divisions

The backbone of the Arcandias Army, Infantry Divisions, are specialized in urban warfare and defensive operations. These 15 divisions of 4,300 personal are equipped with: a mix of assault rifles and light machine guns, Mobile anti-air and anti-ship systems, Portable anti-tank weaponry, and some have Light vehicles and troop carriers.

The infantry units are trained extensively in urban and tropical terrain. They also focus on readiness in defense of the nation's cities, ports, and other strategic infrastructure. With focusing on mobility, they can quicky deploy anywhere across the islands to countering any kind of threats.

Armored Divisions

The Army's Armored Divisions provide heavy firepower and act as a spearhead during operations. These units are crucial for the defense of amphibious invasions as well as reinforcing infantry positions. They are trained mostly in urban combat; and use compact and smaller armored vehicles to navigate Arcandias' streets and surrounding terrains.

Artillery Units

Artillery is arguably the most critical component of the Army. These units use long-range fire support to neutralize threats before they reach Arcandias' shores. They use a combination of Mobile artillery platforms, Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), and Precision howitzers. Artillery units are also trained to create defensive perimeters and choke points.

The Glowing Guard

The Glowing Guard is the most elite unite within the Arcandias Army. Completely made up of handpicked soldiers, they undergo rigorous training in, counterterrorism, unconventional warfare, rapid strike missions, Stealth, and reconnaissance. Equipped with state-of-the-art weaponry, night vision, and stealth gear, the Glowing Guard operates in small teams of 25 capable of executing high risk, high reward missions anywhere in the world. They are the only division in any branch, besides the navy, that operates across the world.

Their symbolic name stems from their use of phosphorus-laced uniforms, designed to emit an eerie glow during ceremonial displays or specific combat scenarios. In addition to combat roles, the Glowing Guard serves ceremonial duties and security for high-ranking officials.
