Dandirilia, also known as Dan, is an oceanic planet located in the Core of the Talin Galaxy. Orbiting the star Dand I in the binary Dand system, and home to the sentient native species Scrucin, the oceans of Dandirilia hold an abundance of life. All of the major settlements across the planet are underwater, though several contain spaceports for interstellar travel, the most prominent city and port being Mot'Dan. The planet is ruled by a monarchy, and the planet is represented in the Galactic Union.
Coral grows in large colonies on Dandirilia, with their hard skeletons forming coral reefs that acted as shelter and feeding and breeding grounds for various species of fish, crustaceans, and other sea life. The coral tends to thrive in areas bathed in the light of the twin suns, but some hardier species dwell out of the light deep below the surface. In these deep sea beds of limited light, bioluminescence is a common trait for plants.
