The Dangun-class submarine is a class of nuclear-powered, ballistic missile submarine (SSBN) in service with the Royal Joseon Navy. It is considered a key asset that supports Joseon's strategic nuclear deterrent capabilities. Since the first ships were deployed in 2020, a total of 20 Dangun-class ships have been planned and all 20 have been built and deployed to the Navy. Also, the Dangun-class is the largest submarine ever built in Joseon.
