Adao is a planet located in the Outer Band of the Talin Galaxy. The native sentient species are the Adaoans, but many other species, including humans, reside in the main spaceport of Kanuuna and the many sparsely dotted settlements and homesteads across the planet. The population of Adao is little under one million sentient beings. Laying outside of the jurisdiction of the Galactic Union and near Idir Space, Adao is a smuggler's paradise. Known for its stunning geographic features, namely its millions of waterfalls from cascading cliffs and ever-present mist conditions, most of the settlements on Adao are constructed into the sides of mountains or just under the surface of vast grassland and marsh plains.
