The 2024 Vazian was the 33rd sexennial presidential election, held on Tuesday, December 12, 2020. The Progressive ticket of Brudian Governor Michael Brudia and incumbent state representative from Central State Rachel Povaz defeated the Tradionalist ticket of incumbent president Richard Gold and vice president Frank Warner. Gold became the first president since 1905, and the second incumbent in the country's history, to fail to be re-elected. The election had a varied turnout, with unexpectedly high and low turnout varying state-by-state.

Brudia scored an upset landslide victory carrying all but three states garnering 388 electoral votes in total. There was also a decsisve popular vote victory for Brudia with a 9.8% lead over the incumbent. This was a major upset as pollsters had the race narrowly leaning toward the incumbent president Gold in the popular vote, with the electoral college a toss-up.

The election has been seen by many as a realigning one as the traditionally conservative southern states, known as the red wall, swung hevaliy towards the left-wing Progressives.
