Jastre Ainsspel (born 2991 AHT) is a Human smuggler and mercenary in the Talin Galaxy. Born on the Outer Band backwater of At'atia, his adolescence was defined by a motivation to join the Navy of the Galactic Union as a pilot. Though failing to qualify for the Union Naval Academy on Aciorus, he was able to attend the Regional Naval Academy on Venrolla. Though he graduated near the top of his class, he was discharged from service due to several altercations with fellow pilots. Entering into a career piloting commercially for the Mining Federation, he soon found himself being recruited by the Obsidian Hand to smuggle spice across the Outer Band and Tampina Arm past Union regulations.
